Buddy Cannon is no newcomer to the country music world.  Over the years Buddy has written and worked with some of the largest names in country music including producing songs for Kenny Chesney and Reba McEntire.

Cannon has produced #1 singles for a number of other artists including Chely Wright (“Single White Female”), John Michael Montgomery (“The Little Girl”), Joe Nichols (“Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off“) and Reba McEntire (“Somebody”).  Cannon was named the ACM Producer of the Year in 2005.

As a songwriter, Cannon has written some country music’s greatest #1 hits including “Set ‘em Up Joe” recorded by Vern Gosdin and “Give It Away” recorded by George Strait for which he received the ACM 2006 Song of the Year and CMA 2007 Song of the Year.

In 2011, Buddy added one more accolade to his list of accomplishments – co-producing twenty of Kenny Chesney’s twenty-one #1 hit singles (w0rking with either Chesney or Norro Wilson as co-producers).  Some of these hits include “Boys of Fall,” “Everybody Wants to Go to Heaven,” “Beer in Mexico,” “Summertime,” “Living in Fast Forward,” “When the Sun Goes Down,” and “The Good Stuff.”
