Brantley Gilbert is a country rock singer-songwriter originally from Jefferson, Georgia.
At the age of 19, Gilbert was involved in a nearly-fatal car accident, after which he decided to dedicate his life to music. Since that time, he has released two albums, both on the Average Joe’s Entertainment Group label.
Gilbert’s songs have also been recorded by Colt Ford and Jason Aldean. In February 2011, Brantley left Average Joe’s label to join with Valory Music Group, where he has charted in the top 40 with “Country Must Be Country Wide”. Most recently his song “Dirt Road Anthem,” co-written with John Jarrard Alum Colt Ford, was picked up by Jason Aldean and is now a top 40 Country hit.
