Balsam Range is an acoustic bluegrass/jazz/folk/gospel band from Haywood County, North Carolina. Known for their unique style, Balsam Range is one of the fastest growing groups in their genre in the country.
WNCW, the #1 flagship bluegrass station in the country voted their album “Trains I Missed” as #1 of their Top 50 Bluegrass Albums of 2010 and #5 on their top 100 overall from any genre (ahead of Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, and Robert Plant).
They are incredible performers and we’re proud to have them as part of our 2011 John Jarrard and Friends Concert.
